Accommodation for ASCS delegates within walking distance of the university:

Lincoln College

Lincoln College on Brougham Place in North Adelaide (10-15 minutes walking distance to the university campus) is offering rooms to ASCS delegates at the special rate of $55 a night. Please note that this does not include breakfast (but both Melbourne Street and O’Connell St which have a wide variety of cafes and bakeries are well within walking distance). Note also that the bedrooms are not air-conditioned and do not have WiFi access. Lincoln College does not have any ensuite rooms.

The Mercure Grosvenor Hotel

The Mercure Grosvenor Hotel on North Terrace (5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the university campus) is offering an economy room (breakfast not included) to ASCS delegates for $114 per night. The Mansions

The Mansions on Pulteney St (just opposite the University) are offering the following rates for January. (Breakfast is not included but an in-room continental breakfast pack can be purchased for $10 per person.)

Studio Apartment - $130.00 per night (Includes up to 2 people in room)
Featuring a fully equipped kitchen, living/dining area, ensuite bathroom and private balcony. Bedding configuration consists of 1 x Queen Bed. Sofa beds are available for an additional $30.00 per night, perfect for a 3rd guest or twin share.

One Bedroom Standard Apartment - $135.00 per night (Includes up to 2 people in room)
The One Bedroom Standard Apartment features a separate bedroom to the living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen and ensuite bathroom.  Typically located towards the back of the property, the One Bedroom Standard Apartment has opening windows throughout the apartment (no balcony). Bedding configuration consists of 1 x Queen Bed. Some sofa beds available for an additional $30.00 per night, perfect for a 3rd guest or twin share.

One Bedroom Executive Apartment - $139.00 per night (Includes up to 2 people in room)
A separate bedroom to the living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, ensuite bathroom and private balcony, typically overlooking Pulteney Street or the side lane ways.  Bedding configuration consists of 1 x Queen Bed.  Some sofa beds available for an additional $30.00 per night, perfect for a 3rd guest or twin share.

Oaks Embassy and Oaks Horizon

The Oaks Embassy and Oaks Horizon Hotels, both on North Terrace (5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the university campus) are offering apartments (with full kitchen and laundry facilities) for $169 a night. The rooms can accommodate two adults (with a king bed that can be split into two) and a third adult can be included for an additional $44 per night (this is subject to availability of extra beds). Stamford Plaza

The Stamford Plaza on North Terrace (5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the university campus) is offering ASCS delegates a standard room (with a queen or king sized bed or twin beds) at $165 a night (This does not include breakfast which can be added at a discounted rate of $20 per diem). Room price is subject to availability at the time of booking. Guests will need to advise that they are attending the Australasian Society for Classical Studies Conference Group or quote the code (AU2801) at time of booking and will also need to provide a valid credit card number in order to confirm their reservation. Majestic Roof Garden Hotel

The Majestic Roof Garden Hotel on Frome St (5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the university campus)  is offering a standard room with a king sized bed (breakfast not included) to ASCS delegates for $165 a night.
